Ingredients:

250g soya chaap (available in stores or you can make it at home using soy chunks)
1 cup yogurt (curd)
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

If you’re using store-bought soya chaap, boil them in water for 5-7 minutes to soften them. If you’re making them at home using soy chunks, soak the soy chunks in warm water for 30 minutes, then squeeze out the excess water and shape them into cylindrical chaaps.

In a bowl, mix together yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt to form a marinade.
Coat the soya chaap pieces evenly with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Heat oil on a tawa (griddle) over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, place the marinated soya chaap pieces on the tawa and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Once cooked, remove the Tawa Soya Chaap from the tawa and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with lemon wedges and mint chutney.
